How to Fight the Post-Marathon Blues
No matter how your big race went, feeling a little empty after it's finally over is normal

How Self-Talk May Influence Long-Term Adaptation
An incredible study from 2014 found that simple self-talk training and intervention can improve performance. What might happen when those psychology-influenced performance gains interact with physiological adaptations over multiple training cycles? My theory: our internal dialogues may hold one of the keys to unlocking breakthroughs.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS SAY ABOUT THE RACE

"This was a great, predictable "track" like course, perfect for a Boston Marathon qualifying race! The path had great variety to keep the course interesting. The early morning start in the dark was a great addition to the race, and it allowed athletes to maximize the cooler weather. The cool cloths were perfect!"
"I thought the race was very fun, had a beautiful course, took place during a beautiful and temperate time of year, and had a lot of helpful and supportive volunteers. The volunteers may have been the best part."
